I'm for a restricted death penalty

I firmly believe that death is the appropriate sentence in many murder cases if and only if the evidence is far beyond the current "reasonable doubt" standard. In order for a death sentence to be handed down, there needs to be overwhelming evidence convicting the murderer, videotape of the person committing the crime, a huge number of witnesses, a confession with tons of supporting evidence.

Sentencing someone to death can have no doubts associated with it. A mistake there cannot be taken back.
