I remember Publius telling me he was afraid that GWB might put Goss into his administration as CIA Director. Having studied the roots of terrorism for a thesis, he mentioned this to me:

This is a guy that came up training the fellows for the "death squads" in Latin America, the sort that favored the removal of elected officials like Salvador Allende because he was too liberal, and installing Gen. Pinochet to bring order to Chile."

Just like John Negroponte's appointment to the UN, you have another fox guarding the hen house. These guys get the job done, come hell or high water. These men back the use of military force to quell ANY local or country wide uprising where natural resources are involved.
They get in there, they protect their stolen assets no matter what the cost. And they use deception and murder to cover up their deception and murder.

As an American citizen, I'd be afraid....very afraid if Goss gets confirmed.
