Not sure as a party leader I'd want to be associated with a man that probably never existed and had extremely mixed messages of love/peace and revenge.
Better yet to have a modern day Paul to create some fairy tale of a new savior more attuned to the times. Perhaps a combo of Robin Williams and Ghandi preaching manic non-violent comedy with different voices or a mixture of Ellen Degeneres and Freddy Mercury singing political ditties filled with references to "any port in a storm".
There's a reason for the separation of church and state in our country and this post is a good example of it. As difficult as it is for us to define and reconcile how liberals and conservatives can coexist together in this country, it only pales in comparison to everyone's definition of their own personal savior whether it be Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha or the guy cleaning your windshield.
