Moore's a loose cannon. Doesn't need political benefactors.
It sure seems to me, and it might only be perception, that Moore is independent in his attacks on Bush. There was never any hint that his "documentaries" were financed by some political machine. Doubt Kerry could stop him if he wanted to.
I think also, that a person's actions in recent years are fair game to political attack. Moore steps over the line occassionally with that rule but most of Fahrenheit 911 was about recent Bush stuff. If you read my post it's more about railing about sins of the distant past. Moore's fair game though. Go for it. I'm just so tired of the Viet Nam crap.
