Completely deceptive Subject, as there was not an identified Swift Boat vet in the cartoon.
The cartoonist went out of his way to depict these people as vets, who were over there, certainly a light-year above Bush, but not Swift Boat people. The identified folks were a clerk-typist and latrine-maintenance person. (Actually, "latrine maintenance" was done by line folks in their areas. The stench of burning diesel and feces is one which gets seared, yes, seared, into one's olfactory memory. Would that it could be burnt out!)
And everyone who was on the line will identify, even if the cartoon may irritate the never-wents and rear echelon chickenhawks. (However, that was the luck of the draw, and they were basically good folks who would have done what the rest did if they had drawn a line MOS.)
And no one cared what they thought anyway.

I think you owe the board and Swift Boat vets an apology. Or not. Normal deception I suppose.
