He has a time-tested technique--a sort of mental "rope-a-dope--where he suddenly becomes seemingly incapable of grasping something obvious. Kind of like when you try to get a dog to look at something by pointing to it, and the dog looks at your finger. Ask others here about it.

If Bowser really was an airhead, I'd overlook it.
