No, no, no...you guys have it all wrong. Have we learned nothing from Bomber Harris?
Structures, like factories or mosques, can be re-built relatively quickly. If you want to create a long-term disruption of mass production, you've got to take out the "factory worker," which basically means killing families in their homes. Rebuilding workers takes a generation, more or less.
Carpet bombing cities wasn't devised just to pass time, ya know?
