At least he's no longer confusing himself with Bob Kerrey
Last week, it came out that Kerry's website was claiming (in response to a Bush ad about his frequent absence from Senate Intelligence Committee meetings) that John Kerry had served as Vice Chairman of the committee. Only thing is, he never did. That was former Senator Bob Kerrey of Nebraska. Kerry, Kerrey, what's the difference, right? I just checked and they've removed that particular little fib.
Still, those 20 pages of materials removed from his website had him claiming credit for another Swiftboat skipper's actions, and the part I cited had him claiming credit for part of Bob Kerrey's Senate record.
Pattern? Or just another in a series of miscalculations by the Kerry campaign this month.
