re: Cassini versus Kerry and the moonbats
Chris Vancil — (archived)

I was involved in debates with the anti-nuke crowd against the launch of Cassini. I wrote letters in support of it to Kerry and Boxer and others congressmen concerning over it's launch.

There is a difference between Kerry asking to postpone something which has already been postponed several times and wanting to cancel it.

Kerry has constituents who brought this up to him. He had to reply in some way and ask for a postponement which didn't happen. He could have asked to cancel the launch and didn't. What is you point in bring this up again?* Some of the anti-Cassini nuts have Ph.D.s and seem intelligent at first blush.

Kerry has sponsored pro-space legislation and currently has a space policy. Something Bush didn't have till last January! 3 1/2 years into his administration! It is true Kerry has also voted against funding ISS, but lots of people here don't like ISS are they also anti-space?

*I have address this before for you and Phil (who seems now senile and doesn't remember).
