If I've read him correctly, Glenn Reynolds, the InstaPundit, supports abortion rights, drug legalization, and other nominally nonconservative things like gay rights. Yes, he does lean more toward the right than the left, but it isn't all that easy to pigeonhole him strictly as conservative. He has been quite critical of Bush on domestic issues, steel tariffs, and other things. Like I said, he comes across more as libertarian than conservative.
As with many blogs, it helps to read it consistenty for several weeks to get a better opinion of the author's viewpoints. A one day snapshot probably will give a view distorted by the day's events.
