Got a look up close and personal over the weekend.

My dem sister, who is normally quite moderate is caught up in the frenzy.

They stopped by this w/e and as usual we got into what is usually a low key political discussion. She actually turned red and veins were popping out when she talked about Bush. The fact that her son and my nephew just accepted a $250K pa job with Brown & Root in Iraq might have had something to do with it. I gave her a big hug and dropped the subject fast.

After 911 and even through the 1st phase of the war she was admitting that Bush was a better choice than Gore. All forgotten now. 911 was a criminal anomaly and there was no terrorist problem before the war.

BTW, my 50 something sister spends an average of $15K per year on trips to Disney World for just her and her husband.
