Cant rememeber the URL - but somewhere is a photo-journal of a women who has a pass that allows her to get very close to the building. She rides around on her motorbike taking a Geiger counter with her. There are some astonishing places around there. For 50km - it's essentially deserted.

Google for it - it's an amazing site.
