The question has never been asked, but how bright IS John boy? Yeah, he went to Yale but he, like GW Bush, got in as a legacy student. Unlike Bush, Kerry did NOT go get a graduate degree. To get an MBA (I know, I have one) at bare minimum you must be able to do 4 function math, do percentages (yes, sadly this eliminates most Democratic voters right away) do spreadsheets, be able to read a multi-page business case and analyze it verbally and numerically. Also, to fly a jet you have to have decent numeric and basic engineering capabilities as well as a good sense of situational awareness. Those who know something about 60s vintage jets know that Bush's F102 was an unstable somewhat risky plane to fly. No milk run. I believe that Kerry is a light aircraft pilot and must have some such aptitudes as well, so he cannot be as stupid as he appears in person or from his failed campaign strategies.
