I can't say for sure that you've made both claims, but I'm quite certain I've heard both claims from prominant Democrats and Bush bashers here. Donna specifically brought up the idiot claims as an issue that can cause a defeat and you ignore it and repeat a similar claim. When a party sends mixed messages it's obvious a large number of them don't know what they are talking about. It also makes it hard to develope a consistant let alone an effective strategy.
