No one's rewriting anything.

I have a photographic memory. I remember almost everything. Every post, every word, every comment. I know what I said. I know what you said, what MA said, what your brother said, what Justin said, what Tony said, what Fox said, what Bowser said, what Lindy said, what Tom said, what SDG said, what RobVG said...what everybody says. All of it. It's pretty hard to forget when you can't forget.

So when I commented about your brother's flames or now about your own lack of social graces, it's because I remember every profane word and every utterance committed to keyboard--not just to me but to most other posters here as well. When I talk about SM being a whipping dog for the board, I speak authoritatively because I remember every mean thing ever said to him which I have read, for years and years. I probably remember more of the mean things said to him than he remembers. From comments about his Starship Generations concept to other more personal things. I also remember the way he has lashed back over the years too after provoked. Same for Lindy or for anyone else who has been particularly targeted over the years.

The only other person who probably has a similar overview is Robert--and he would probably have to consult the server. And as an added punishment I remember every mean thing said to SM on MSNBC too. So I am not too harsh on SM. I remember everything Nick has written too and he isn't always peaches and cream to everyone either, though among many posters here he appears like a saint by comparison. He knows this as well. I remember the mean things everybody has said to everybody. Personally, that anyone still posts here at all amazes me, they have to have forgotten all these things. If they remembered them it would be...well it would be difficult to say the least. Sometimes I think humanity is blessed to be able to forget the insults and the hurts--especially the ones they have given others.

Though remembering posters' comments has also been very educational as well. The funny moments, the inspired postings, these things make for the glint of gold mixed sparsely among the muck as one pans through the posts.

Robert talks about the human aspect of it, and I know why. If he bothers to read a fraction of the posts made here, he can't help but feel he's witnessing some sort of social experiment. Personalities that develop a history over years and how the relationships change and evolve. I mentioned to him once the repetitive cycles and how even the posts regenerate in specific topic patterns. I know because I recall them.

I remember the first post you made here and who first recognized you as Robert's brother. Remembering the thread you had with Tom about experimental medicines and the suffering your fiance endures is all like stuff mentioned yesterday and still reverberating in my head.

This makes me simultaneously more compassionate, because many folks forget most of these details. Most folks are only concerned about themselves and forget the pains of others. I can't forget these pains. For me it gives me a greater depth of understanding the hows and whys of the comments here. At the same time I have seen and can recall clearly the dark sides of most of the posters here. This brings balance to my views of most folks here. Few don't have these dark sides.

Well Marcia doesn't have a dark side. ;-) She's been an angel here on the HZ and has never said a really mean word to anyone. If anyone deserves a good conduct award on the board it's her. I'd venture to say she is one of the nicest persons posting on the HZ. No wonder she posts here so little! If she has been mean to someone I haven't read it.

Most folks consciousness operates like a gigabyte hard drive and at a certain point they have to shift it to a storage facility that requires special triggers to access. They have a limited bandwidth for immediate recollection.

Mine's a terabyte consciousness...squared. And yeah..it's a 'frequency' thing and 'vortice' thing.

So don't freak out about it.
