My guess though is that anyone that doesn't play Bush cowboy and Indian games probably fits your comparison.
I don't see Lindy's desire to have crop circles make some cosmic sense any more bizarre than those believing that the Bible has some sort of validity to its absurd claims. To me it's all wishful thinking, a natural human desire to want answers we'll never attain in our lifetimes. Everyone embraces some form of magic, some for entertainment, some to fill in holes.
As for Lindy's claim about the under-reported deaths in Florida, my guess is that the truth lies somewhere in between the govt. figures and the hundreds or thousands some claim. Weather disasters are messy events. They don't leave nice neat little packages awaiting rescuers. Often times victims are thrown out of normal habitable areas. At the same time I'm sure the govt. agencies have no real agenda to misreport things. There's simply no simple motivation I can come up with for doing so.
Next time you take a potshot, it'd be less wussy sounding if you'd add something to back it up.
Current Events » in reply to Actually Art, you and Lindy do have much in common.
If you mean an open mind I'll take that as a complement.
