Thoughtful reply.

We have a country with a political administration which is polarizing the population. Seeking just a majority, it does not care about the other folks. And that population knows it.

Additionally, it is actively pursuing economic policies which leave the rich richer and the poor poorer. Creating more poor, more people without access to preventative health care, more folks who experience themselves as disenfranchised.

We also have a society with has a larger percentage of it's population in prison than any other. Those folks get out, with limited skills and opportunity.

It has significantly encroached on civil rights, ignored human rights, and started a war without cause. And those with perspective know that.

If this administration, if this country, doesn't find a way to get everyone under the umbrella, to have everyone feeling as if they are represented, if it continues to leave out the people this administration has,

The backlash when it comes will be fearsome. Unless conservatives can create a police state, with no semblance of democracy, there will be a backlash and it will in direct proportion to but with greater force than the conservative agenda.

There will be reparations for slavery, for instance, as that population won't be able to believe there is another way to get a piece of the pie.

Taxes will resemble confiscation, and the wealthy will retreat to their walled, gated communities and hang on for dear life.

Will the goose be killed, leaving no golden eggs? I don't think so. As a direct result, though, of the looting of society being perpetrated now, the US will become socialist in basic utilities and health care.

Because people are being shut out of those now. There won't be another way for them to receive medical care, for instance.

Nope, the conservatives need to take to a middle road, not talk about it but take to it for their own good.

But they won't. They should, though, pray they don't win in November, because that would about destroy them as a viable political movement. But they won't.

The backlash will come, unless Homeland Security becomes Conservative Security, the government confuses the Republican Party with the country, and the US devolves into a police state completely.
