I sawr the news today., oh boy..
(just now) about an article in Science or Nature discussing global warming, that it is worse than they thought, and marshalling a whole bunch of evidence and authorities to underscore the gravity and urgency of the issue.
THe ice is melting not just at sea, but on the Antarctic and Greenland continental ice sheets as well. I only learned this after I first posted this thread, but I assume NSDIC was familiar with it, and it probably convinced them to post their interactive graph, which is what I was pointing out.
Have you noticed how quiet the denialists have been lately? Nothing but crickets out there.
