Do people lie to pollsters?
On MSNBC's late show featuring Ron jr, they discussed the possibility that in a hate filled campaign people may tell pollsters that they are voting for one candidate because it somehow makes them feel better about themselves.
In the privacy of the voting booth they shed the pretense and vote for their perceived self interests.
They also mentioned that in presidential elections the undecided usually swing for the incumbent.
