Can turn a narrow popular vote into an electoral landslide. It needs to go. It let's extremists control both parties and votes in a few key state count far more than those of most voters. This results in closely divided states getting a disproportionate share of attention. It is simply a very unequal system. It was installed at a time when most people lived and died within a few miles of their home and being from a certian state was almost like being from an independant country. I was born in Ohio, raised in Michigan, doubled my age in Alabama, and now live in Georgia, but Idon't see any reason any of those states should have their votes count more than any others. I think of myself as an American not a buckeye, michigander, Alamamian, or Georgian. Does anyone here feel a stronger identification with their state than their country?
Thanks for your time,
Mark
