Hi All

Here's an interesting news bite from EurekaAlert...

Thermoelectric power

The Navy is taking this seriously enough to consider it as an alternative to steam turbines. I'm wondering if it couldn't be harnessed as an alternative to PVs on SPS, allowing solar thermal concentrators to produce power without hot, high pressure working fluids, turbines, pistons or what not. Would still need radiators to create the heat gradient, but eliminating working parts is so attractive...
