Wolfowitz has said several times that rescuing the Iraqi people was not sufficient reason to risk our troops lives. I would remind you that Paul Wolfowitz is Deputy Secretary of Defense.

This has nothing to do with what others believed. It was what was sufficient intel for the Bush administration to committe our youth to a war.
