You find that easy to ignore... but hey, just as long its the rest of the world that pays for our actions as long as no one dies on us soil then its ok- of course the 1000+ americans that have died on Iraqi soil for a lie don't count either, nor do the Iraqi 'collateral' casualties.
So lets look at the facts- Terrorism is up, There are now terrorists in Iraq where there were none before, there were no WMDs, americans are dying there nearly every day and will likely continue to do so for a long time, we have made our allies hostile towards us- totally obliterating the unity and good will we had after 9-11, we have spent 100's of billions on this war and will continue to do so, It looks like Iraqi democracy is most likely to be chaos and civil war, and we have been sidetracked from the war on terror.
So, what exactly makes this disaster a victory? How is this a good thing? If you use the cop out 'well Saddam was a very bad man' save it- lots of countries have evil regimes... When it comes to bodycount North Korea is much worse, AND they actually have WMDs.
This was the settling of a family vendetta, and the administration was prepared to lie if they had to, to make it happen....
