Russia is a natural ally in this, and we should do just about anything to make the alliance overt and in depth.
Pres. Bush should get in front on this and clear the air with Russia.
If 'midlevel' State Dept. flunkies are doing this on bureaucratic autopilot they should be reposted to Greenland or something.
