Every war has roots
The roots of this war are as tangled as any.
The question is frankly how to destroy the roots now.
The second consideration is how to prevent fresh roots from growing in the future.
We are past time for gentle analysis.
We should do what it takes to help Russia now, including ending any talk of Chechens as freedom fighters, and turn over to Russia any and all intel that will help them wage war and win.
