Hard to see how anyone could argue with that.

As materials get better, as technology improves, as tools such as computers become better able to help with design and construction, as folks learn from mistakes, it has to get easier.

As with building a better car than 100 years ago. Building a car ain't what it used to be.

The argument that Israel sent up a rocket that failed is an argument in favor of the guy's theses - Israel sent up a rocket.

North Korea, for instance, has rockets. India, Pakistan, an entire bunch of folks.

Is it simple or foolproof? Of course not. Is it simpler and more foolproof, as people don't have to strain against the very limits of material technology, guidance systems, propellants. Of course.

Heck, there was that guy in New Zealand who made a cruise missile in his back yard for less than $10,000. And cruise missiles at one time were the apex of weapon development. Not rockets, of course, but technology.

And folks are privately building rockets in quest of the X Prize.

Hard to argue with the guy, as I said.
