re: Firebombing cities in world war two was not a war crime.

Given the technology of the day awhich was limited and caused a great number of "incidental casulties" as well as the precedent that was set earlier in the war that made civilians legitimate targets, the firebombing was not a "war crime" or "crime against humanity" by any legitimate definition under the rules of war.

The same goes for using agent orange in Vietnam.

Even if John Kerry says so, these things (including the establishment of free fire zones) are not war crimes. Changing the definition of "war crimes", no matter how nuanced, can't really be done after the fact.

Chopping of heads and tourturing prisoners clearly is a war crime. John Kerry said these (and many other specific acts) were war crimes that were commited "daily and routinely" by US service men. But where are the war criminals? Why won't John Kerry Name Names? is it because he was telling a lie?

Put up or shut up Mr. Kerry. American prisoners were tourtured (a real war crime) with tapes of your testimony. Have you no honor?
