If CBS stands by the forged documents with the rest of the news media give CBS a pass?

I know if I were at ABC, NBC, CNN, or FOX I would be doing everything I could to prove they are indeed forged.

But then CBS news already has very little credibility. And what if the choice came down to destroying my competition or getting John Kerry Elected. If you are a left-wing media bigwig then that might be a tough choice.
