Man what a crock on here from both sides. Keep arguing all you want on this stupid issue but Joe Sixpack out there isn't even going to hear a tenth of the crap you all are spewing. We're talking about an electorate that hears only sound bites, the morons that keep Jerry Springer and all the reality shows on the air. For a bunch of intellectuals to waste all this emotion trying to figure out what these morons will do on election day is an exercise in futility.

Dan Rather will be around til eternity no matter how this issue pans out. He's a sound bite and a proven survivor. Kerry won't gain or lose ground on this thing because the people that want to vote for him will blame the Republicans and the others will blame the Democrats. Nothing will change with this issue.

No matter what the polls say now, the only thing that can affect the outcome of November's election are beyond the control of our rhetoric or any number of blogs on the internet. Let's face it. This thing is going to be neck and neck and nobody here has a clue which way the chips will fall.
