The days after the elections in Iraq, the murderers will continue to kill people. The elections won't be much difference to the fanatic Islamic fundementists than the current situation in Iraq. Iraq currently now has democracy. Iraq currently has it's soveriegnty. People's lives are now free. They can have political debate. They can change their future and they are changing their future, day by day, brick by brick.
The day after Iraq's election will say one thing, there is no excuse. If Iraq can be a democracy, while a small percent but nevertheless large group of people in hundreds to thousands are doing every thing they can to disrupt it, why can't the Palestines do it? Or what about all the other countries?
Now, some may say they need the US and a coalition of countries to help them do it. But they really don't. But it doesn't mean we are not willing to help. What they really need is the willingness of their people to bring this about and from the willingness, hope can come, and with hope a nation's soul can be forged into a faith that the darkness will end and good people will enter into a new era in which people are not chained to a government that is indifferent or hostile to their will.
