Apparently nobody believes these are real accept Dan Rather. I can't believe that CBS News is letting Rather take them down with him.
Even if the guy is about to retire, I would think that the Network's credibility is worth more than keeping that partisan hack rather happy.
A grade school student could type out a copy of these memos from scratch on Microsft Word. But an expert typest can't do it on a typewriter from the period in qustion. Now we find out that the subject of one of the memos couldn't have been the subject because he had retired 18 months earlier. Still CBS reports that they are authintic, and they have yet to report the otherside of the story. Its amazing.
Is Kitty Kelly an employee of CBS News? Maybe she's the one that is going to replace Rather once he retires.
