anyone who has alcoholism on either side of their family should try to discourage drinking at any age.

My wife's family has had problems with drinking. I followed the rules as set by Mary Ann with my first three daughters and lost one to the dark side. I serve alcohol in my home infrequently and only to guests.

(The other two are social drinkers but a little too social to suit me.)
