I just wanted an animation of turbulence induced scintillation on a laser beam- so I asked Claude to find one online- here is the exchange:
This is in no way an 'easy' calculation to do- it involves advanced calculations of phase and amplitude of a Gaussian beam and how its distorted and interferes with itself ... and Claude did it on a lark...
