First, a quagmire was predicted, and the best course was not illegally invading. At a minimum the approval of the Security Council would have alleviated this disaster.

So it's your (conservatives) war, your responsibility, your obligation.

Knowing that what's happening is a disaster, for the Iraqis, for the region, for the US.

And knowing that if you keep doing what you've been doing, you're going to keep getting what you've been getting.

Does your plan avert the loss of innocent lives, Iraqi and American?

A "plan" is very, very easy to imagine IF one is willing to give up the idea of owning Iraq, of colonizing Iraq, of having a docile puppet state there.
