And how exactly would one more security council resolution disuade the people that bombed UN headquarters in Iraq? They obviously revere the UN. Is it because they are so afraid of France that they kidnap their people over the minor issue of headscarves? Because they are so afraid of Russia that they are attacking them left and right despite staying out of Iraq? Is it because France is such an awesome miltary power that they would have wiped out all resistance in the blink of an eye if they joined the coalition?

Yes Bush's plans intend to alleviate the loss of innocent Iraqi lives. But of course all those killed by Saddam and those killed by the terrorists trying to prevnt a Democratic Iraq mean nothing to you.
