re: Myst 4
I gave up on Myst 1, as I recall.
Y'know, I wondered about games these days, so I purchased a close-out WWII flying thing. Janes something, $17 and another $15 for a joystick.
Geez. I've spent maybe 10 hours trying to land one of the types of planes, and maybe another 10 or 15 hours on other skills, have mastered none. Partly because the keyboard and joystick don't always coordinate, but even so.
I've had a pilots license, I've flown as pilot-in-command for a bunch. Don't know who much, hundreds, not thousands of hours. I'm familiar with the basics.]
And there are about 1700 more keyboard commands still to learn, before a person could be proficient.
Game? More like work, or school, so far.
