It looks like CBS acted as the go between: Coordinating the activities of the Soros funded 527's with the actions of the Kerry Campaign.

CBS had to arrange the meeting with Lockhart because by law, the Soros funded 527's couldn't coordinate with with the Kerry Campaign. it appears that CBS acted to facilitate their coordinated efforts. This could get really ugly for CBS, the Kerry Campaign, and Demo-hack 527's before it is all over.

The forgeries may only be the tip of the iceberg.
