"The Sword is Mightier than the Pen" is the name of article I link to. The article explains why/how sword is mighter than pen.
In my first sentence I say: "Of course, the pen is mighter than the sword. But no one ever said a sword or pen is required to serve only good causes."
And rest of my comments could be called explanatory of my first sentence. In other words, I did provide explanation of my "relationship to the quoted material".
