Well, we Americans have tasted freedom and know the consequences of not fighting for it so I don't think it could ever come to that serious of a scenario. If it did, every gun owner would be fighting for freedom and the non-gun owners would probably be reloading ammo for them.

Sure things would look grave but they have before and we have prevailed.

Didn't we lose on average during the Civil War around 300 people per day?
