I said mankind is a scavenging predator.. That's evidenced by the religious wars, the economic wars, the wars to satisfy rulers egos.
Please find where a reasonable person would interpret that as saying every person is a mass murderer, every child an assassin. After you can do that we could continue discussing how to prevent the worst excesses of man's aggressive nature.
"Reducto ad absurdum" is a tactic best used on the totally naive, and is used by people who think in black and white, not recognizing various colors of gray, let alone rainbows. Juveniles are typically comfortable with that. "Black and white" thinking is a symptom of profoundly depressed people (David Burns, et al.) and a block to understanding other people and issues.
Until you are able to show that I said all children are future assassins or admit that was a rhetorical flourish without meaning there's no sense going any further. Which is too bad, we were on the verge of a somewhat meaningful synthesis..
Too bad. We missed this time.
