I haven't been there in 15 years so I'm leary of claiming how they view
the threats of nature in Seattle. but I do know that old-timers in that city
recall hurricane-force winds hitting the city in November/1962.
And there was that [6.0 Richter Scale?] quake in March/2001.
And Mount Baker, not too far away from Seattle, competes with Mount Ranier
as an overdue volcanic threat.
Has the shaking stopped in Imperial Valley?
