By an odd coincidence, I'm in New Zealand right now visiting family. I soon realized that I couldn't get any accurate news throught the local papers so I'm on the web. The media here is beyond biased. There is no attempt to present accurate information about Bush or the Iraq war in the local newspapers. What we would take as liberal spin in America is regarded as main stream news in New Zealand. It's beyond me, how a democracy can function when presented with nothing but spin and biased opinion with no raw information. Thank god for the Internet.
By the way, the scenery here is fantastic and the New Zealanders are decent, friendly people. This is a good place for a holiday if you can afford it.
