What the hell is the difference between not using your name and using the name 'Bowser'?

I have posted twice on Community since the change with a name other than R.L.... the first time was as a joke _before_ I found out that IPs were not displayed any more- the second time I posted under an alternate name there I made it quite clear who was posting it in the text...

Robert S. isnt our babysitter, The only thing I think should be punished under these new conditions is impersonations of other board members by using their handles (A death penalty offense in my opinion). Use of alternate names if abused should be exposed which is why my second post on community under a pseudonym made it clear I was the poster...

Now, shall we address the issue of those that post here that dont have the honesty to reveal their true identities? Like the bigoted cowards that spout their bile anonymously? Or those that post only as 'bowser' or 'Lindy'... or as SDAI or Lee?

chill out...I am sure that if the lack of ISP addresses is abused Robert will expose the culprit...

As for me, I dont really care- I am sure many here could figure out my street address without my IP address. I have to hope that others here are at the least human enough not to exploit what I reveal here.
