I had my back to the tv for pretty much the entire debate, so I missed most of those visual clues. The consensus seems to be that Kerry did well, Bush less so. I thought it was a lacklustre performance all-around, but if Kerry gets the predicted bounce and the polls start running closer to neck-and-neck again, the election itself will be anything BUT lacklustre.
I'm at a loss as to what to expect of the other debates, but my co-workers think things will heat up. We'll see. Clearly the curtain hasn't fallen on this drama just yet.
