Perhaps that 's your own apprehension welling up. I personally believe its going to a very close election and could go either way.
But the fact is Mr. Bush has a personality disorder that affects his capacity to think on his feet when effectively confronted. When placed against a rather stiff Al Gore, he fared reasonably well. But John Kerry is an exceptionally skilled orator and debator. He very deliberately worked to unnerve and put GW on the defensive. I think we'll see these differences amplified in the remaining debates.
