Good post.

Ever dive the Northwest? Lots of life, good things to eat and if your lucky, you can see beyond your hand. Seriously, good vis is about 30'. Always cold.

I'll never forget swiming in the middle of a Sea Lion "ballet". It was an amazing rush to have these 400 lb animals swiming past you at 40 mph, bending and twisting- especially when your mask makes them look 10' long.

On our first dive by ourselves on Duamish Head in West Seattle, I found a brass porthole. Two years later there wasn't much left of the same wreck but I managed to find the "wingnut" for my porthole. Could not believe my luck!

Don't dive anymore but haven't sold my gear.

Ya never know...
