Good points.

I think he was trying to hide from the UN just enough WMD stuff (Like the WMD Scientist, Ingredients, knowledge base and facilities that we have found) so that when the UN went away, he could start where he left off.

He wanted Iran and Kuwait. He also wanted Israel out of the way.

OBL wants (Or wanted, if he is dead) Saudi Arabia.

According to the 9/11 commission, OBL met with Iraq in the 1990’s. I wonder if they talked about how they were going to divide up the Middle East. And, did OBL stab Saddam in the back by getting America involved in the Middle East with 9/11? Something to consider.

What if OBL help set up Saddam to make it look like his WMD programs were further along than they really were? And then he attack America on 9/11. He caused a lot of suspicion in the intelligence world against Saddam. He egg Saddam on to resist the UN and America and got him to hide what WMD material he does have. He play America and Saddam against each other.

His plan: America attacks Iraq. America is beaten or weakened and has to pull out of Iraq. Saddam is gone. Saudi Family is weak. He takes over Saudi Arabia, takes over Kuwait. He already had Afghanistan. Only Iran stands in his way of total Middle East rule.

Sounds like a movie plot, but they say truth is stranger than fiction.

But could OBL help Saddam to look suspicious about WMD? Perhaps help him smuggle WMD components around. Start rumors. Get CIA to follow false leads- stuff like that.

If that was his plan, than he failed in his calculation of Americas fight. He didn’t think we’d kick him out of Afghanistan, and he didn’t think we’d put up such a fight in Iraq. And now it is backfiring as freedom takes over Iraq.

How will it turn out? A free Iraq and Afghanistan, and hopefully that freedom will spread thought-out the Middle East and end environment that creates the Middle East terrorist.
