I can only get online when I'm at the conference wireless section, and I'm burning out on politics anyway. I may not even see the debate tonight because of meetings, but look for a few things:
It's a lot easier to sling crap than refute it, which is why the debate format is hard on Bush. You might notice that it often takes a lot longer to explain why something isn't true than it is to mislead in the first place. There are a lot of examples on this board.
Just one example I picked off the Web today. Look at Kerry's initial statement--one short sentence--and look at what it takes to address it.
Kerry is going to be slinging it fast and hard, and I don't know if Bush can bat them back fast enough. Cripes, it would be a full-time job on this board if I replied to every pantload dropped here.
An aside: scuttlebutt has it that among the "undecided" voters in the audience are a number of Democratic partisan ringers. No proof for this as yet, but look for questioners to go off the prepared questions and attack Bush on their own. We'll see.
Afternoon session coming up. Looks good!
