Let's be BLUNT!
Up until his designs of a blunt ended re-entry vehicle, all spacecraft had the design probs of heating, still remember the spaceships of 40's and 50's with their needle nosed esigns, so simple was the blunt ended capsules it was a marvel of engineering....sad to see him go.
