re: Plans for DEMISE of ROVERS?
I read an interview of one of the project scientists (forget who) that quoted him as saying the rovers would be decommissioned if they became immobile. Apparently there's only so much they can do in any one spot. I guess they could do long-term weather monitoring, but they weren't designed for that use, so maybe it's not worth the expense.
